People often ask where the name Glory Scars came from.
It didn't begin with a business plan.
It began with a moment that changed everything.
In 2014, I was in a serious car accident that left me with a fractured skull, a brain bleed, and multiple broken bones. Doctors told me I would likely spend six months recovering in the hospital.
I left on day four.
Not because I was healed.
Because I refused to let someone else write the ending to my story.
Lying in that hospital bed, before there was a company, before there was a logo, before there was even a plan, one thought refused to leave me.
What nearly breaks you can become what defines you.
That became Glory Scars.
Not because I wanted to build a business around hardship.
Because I realized something far more important.
Every meaningful life, every remarkable brand, and every lasting legacy has a defining chapter.
Most people try to erase it.
I believe that's the one chapter worth building from.
That belief became a philosophy.
A scar is the moment life changes you.
A mark is the moment you change everything after it.
That's what Glory Scars has always been about.
Over nearly two decades in creative strategy and design, I've helped organizations, founders, and leaders transform defining moments into defining marks. From federal pursuits and healthcare systems to enterprise brands and startups, the work has never been about making things look better.
It's about making them matter.
Because the strongest brands aren't built on perfection.
They're built on conviction.
Embrace the Mark.
No matter how difficult,
"If it can be imagined, it can be created!"
